smartEn officially launched on the 31st of March a brand new internal working group, the Digital Agenda Task Force, Chaired by Laurent Schmitt, former Secretary-General of ENTSO-E and current Head of Utilities & European Developments at dcbel .
smartEn’s Digital Agenda Task Force will focus this year on Prosumers Data, Grid and Markets Data, and Cybersecurity, key priority areas for the new energy business community.
As highlighted by Chairman Laurent Schmitt, the Digital Agenda Task Force comes in a timely manner given the ongoing policy and legislative development regarding the digitalisation of the energy sector.
“Unlocking grid-edge flexibility and easing associated data exchange is crucial to ensure the efficient and coordinated management of the future Power System – across TSO & DSOs and sectors. It requires rethinking data architecture, putting Prosumers at the center while enabling seamless data exchange and orchestration across all energy value chain players. We welcome your active contribution to this debate, which will have implications in all upcoming #EUGreendeal regulations – RED2, EED, and the interoperability and demand-side flexibility codes.”
We look forward to the discussions within smartEn’s Digital Agenda Task Force and future cooperation opportunities with stakeholders and partners.
