The Electrification Alliance, a coalition of 10 European associations, is calling for electricity as the key to Europe’s decarbonised and energy-efficient future. As Europe’s electricity becomes greener, it will unlock the full potential of a carbon-free, digital economy, driving progress across sectors like transport, heating, and cooling.
Together, we support scaling up investment in renewable energy, smart grids, and energy storage, while advocating for policy reforms that accelerate electrification. Our joint Declaration on Electrification calls on European policymakers to remove barriers, expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and promote smart heating and cooling solutions, all with the goal of creating a sustainable, competitive, and thriving Europe.
