The European Sustainable Energy Weeks (EUSEW) is a series of activities to build a secure energy future for Europe. The SEDC has co-organised four separate events where we would be glad to welcome you:
- Cooling: A sleeping giant – paving the way for a sustainable future taking place on Monday 19 June from 14:00-17:30.
- A Smart Energy System For Consumers, Consumers for a Smart Energy System taking place on Wednesday 21 June 2017 from 14:00-15:30.
- Flexible Energy Markets: New players, New Rules on Wednesday 21 June 2017 from 14:00-15:30.
- Engagement at Scale: The Role of Industrial Energy Users for a Successful Clean Energy Package on Thursday 22 June 2017 from 11:00 – 12:30.
Executive Director of the SEDC, Frauke Thies, will also be speaking in the sessions on Valuing Dedicated Storage in Electricity Grids taking place on Monday 19 June from 12.00-14.30 hrs, on New EU Energy Consumer Rights under Clean Energy Proposal taking place on Wednesday 21 June from 9:00-10:30 hrs as well as on the panel in the session on Digitalisation in Energy taking place on Wednesday 21 June 2017 from 16:00-17:30 hrs. Senior Policy Adviser Grace Murray will be chairing the session on The Different Flavours of Local Energy Communities and Companies taking place on Thursday 22 June from 11:00-12:30 hrs.
