Together with a broad coalition of European organisations and associations, smartEn has signed a joint letter calling for a strong future-proof post-2030 EU energy framework, one that strengthens Europe’s security, affordability, competitiveness and resilience.
The joint letter calls for:
- Binding and ambitious EU targets for renewables, energy efficiency and electrification
- Strong implementation and enforcement mechanisms
- Faster renewable-based electrification across industry, buildings and transport
- Accelerated deployment of flexibility and storage solutions
- Greater cross-border cooperation and investment certainty
Delivering on these is a strategic imperative for Europe.
