2021 smartEn Map: Resource Adequacy Mechanisms

The 2021 smartEn Map illustrates the current roles that DSF plays in different RAMs across a selection of European countries as well as the regulatory conditions for its participation. While resource adequacy is highly dependent on national specificities, like their energy mix or climatic variability, the report allows for the identification of existing barriers and good practices trying to achieve a more resilient, cost effective and clean energy system.
