2022 smartEn Map: Ancillary Services

The 2022 smartEn Map examines the role of DSF in ancillary services across 21 European countries, building on the 2018 Balancing Markets edition. This edition identifies key barriers to DSF, highlighting both those that can be addressed quickly and good practices in integrating innovative technologies. The findings aim to support the development of a more resilient, decarbonised, and affordable energy system, with active consumers at its core.
