smartEn Symposium 2018

On 10 October (8.30-10.00) Angelika Mlinar MEP will host in the European Parliament (ASP 5G1) the Annual smartEn Symposium “Smart Energy in Practice – How will digital decentralised solutions be affected by the Electricity Market Design?“.

The Head of the Energy Retail Markets Unit from the European Commission, Anna Colucci, and the Chair of the Energy Working Party from the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU, Benedect Ennser, are joining us to present and discuss how the Electricity Market Design should facilitate the development of innovative and clean energy solutions and consumer empowerment.

Senior company representatives from the ground will present and discuss a variety of use cases of innovative services and engagement options for energy consumers and “prosumers” today. While providing a snapshot of new energy realities and opportunities, participants will debate current barriers and regulatory solutions that should be addressed.

The new smartEn publication “Smart Energy in Practice – Collection of Use Cases of Digital Decentralised Solutions” will be officially launched, to present and describe technologies for system integration and innovative aggregation and pooling services.

The Symposium is open for EU Institutions and smartEn members. If interested in joining, please contact matteo.candelari@smarten.eu
